"Magical stay in the heart of the magical town of Saint Cirq! The room was nice and cool even in 38degC weather, and super comfortable and romantic for a couples stay. The host was incredibly kind and flexible, even though we had to move our breakfast time and had a lot of visitors and chaos in preparation for an event. The host considered my gluten intolerance for breakfast (which was either on our personal terrace or the communal one with the most amazing view) and chatted to us in the morning to see if he can help us with any plans we have for the day. The entire stay felt like staying with a friend, rather than the anonymous and automated hotels & airbnbs we are used to. Cannot recommend more ❤️"

"Don’t hesitate to book Maison Lapopie. It is every bit as good as the multiple previous reviewers report. The room we had was big, beautiful, quiet, comfortable, with a view that can’t be compared with any “conventional” hotel. This is a very unique place. In the heart of a very old town on the edge of a hill with spectacular views. The hotel has been tastefully decorated and lovingly cared for. Our wonderful breakfast was deliverd in a basket after we made our selection the evening before. Because of the very old nature of the town, you will not be able to park outside the hotel, but will have a short walk. However, it is possible to stop close for a period to drop of any luggage. If you are looking for something unique and are lucky enough to book Maison Lapopie you will have a memory of a lifetime. I would also like too recommend the walking-distance restraunt Le Gourmet Quercynois."
